ABOUT ME
Hello, I am Niveditha Raghuraman, a creative communicator with seven years of work experience. It is indeed a long name, so I am going to help you pronounce it; my first name is pronounced Knee-way-d-ta, and my last name is pronounced ragu-ramen. Sounds like pasta sauce and noodles, right?
I was born In Chennai, India where I did my all my schooling. Post this, I worked in Chennai for a bit and then moved to Bangalore, India where I held a great job in a digital ad agency. Coming up with creative campaigns for corporate brands was exciting. At work, I would be lost in deep thoughts for that elusive idea that would solve the communication challenge for the brand. In spite of my passion for the job, I decided to travel 8,302 miles to study Communications at Rutgers (New Brunswick, USA) because I wanted to learn and engage in a culture that is not native to me. I recognized that expanding my horizons would also open new ‘communication opportunities’ from a career point of view; so here I am in my final semester of my graduate program.
I have diverse interests and love to learn; you can catch me dabbling with crafts, clicking pictures with my camera or designing the theme of a room … there is nothing subtle about my imagination or creativity. I am also an analytical person who loves to understand the big picture before I delve into the details. That’s why I am good at activities like researching and organizing. I believe that when one starts their work by being well informed, the ideas that emerge from the information will not miss the mark.
