Trigger happy, artsy, the clicker... just a few nicknames I go by.

Teach a man to fish

I always thought fishing was done only

in the river! He is surf fishing, the sport of catching fish standing on the shoreline or wading in the surf.

A date to remember

I was far away from this couple. With my long-distance lens, I was framing an object behind them. As I was trying to zoom into focus, I saw this couple. What a beautiful moment of love.

The golden hour

Walking down the beach, I saw these beautiful tall sea oats. The light passing through was brilliant. It was a moment when I felt the beauty of nature and her magnanimity.

Paradox

We live in a world of paradoxes; his is obvious.
Waiting for a disaster, while hoping for none.
It must be tough when your career is based
on a false proposition.

There goes the neighborhood

The excavators & bulldozers roll and rumble. With their mighty force, they strip away slices of life that existed for years. High and mighty plans for something new are underway. Long before you know, a new mall or a high-rise emerges. We pass by many spaces that transform slowly but surely, soon the neighborhood you knew becomes just a memory. {this is a space in Chennai}

50 shades of pink

It was an explosion of shades of pink at the Cherry Blossom Festival at D.C. The blossom viewing tradition arises from Japanese culture to them, it represents the fragility and the beauty of life. As the cherry blossom blooms for a week and wilts quickly; it is a reminder that almost everything beautiful is also tragically short, so enjoy it while you can.

Work in Progress

This magnificent tower is the One World Trade Center. To the right of is another building with a similar facade; this, in fact, is the second tower that is coming up slowly but surely. While most admire the flawless tall tower, my eyes always went to the one that is "work in progress."
